The Importance Of Building Mental Strength:

Who is in control of your mind? Is it your human-self ego? That side of you that is overridden by fear, failure, and doubt. Or, is it your soul-self? That part of you that is connected to the loving strength of a higher power. A power that knows you can do anything if you put your mind to it.
Most humans are running on the unconscious control of their human-self ego. They are completely unaware that they are not sitting in the driver’s seat of their life. It’s the people who believe that life happens to them. That they have no control over what occurs, because they believe that a power outside of themselves is running the show. God is punishing them. They’ve just got bad luck. They must have killed ten China men in a past life. All of these ridiculous stories that people convince themselves of to avoid the cold hard truth: the negative emotions of their unconscious human-self mind is manifesting their undesirable outer reality!
These people are the ones who give up at the first sign of anything being hard. They go into a sauna and leave after five minutes because their human-self tells them it’s too hot. It’s unbearable, and you can’t possibly make it through a full session. They open a business that fails, so they go back to the misery of being an employee and never try owning another business again. It’s the addict who quits for two days and says “Bugger that, it’s too hard. I feel uncomfortable, so it’s easier if I just relapse”. Or, it’s the ones who stay in an unhappy relationship because the idea of leaving or being alone is just too scary. At least, that’s what their human-self ego tells them.
The ego loves to scare people into instant submission, because it has no foresight to recognise the long-term benefits of the immediate discomfort. When someone’s human-self is in the driver’s seat, they allow this fear response to override their better sense of (soul-self) judgement. They don’t even question it, let alone weigh up the long-term versus short-term benefits of the decision. In fact, there’s no thought at all. Just an automatic pure fear response to run. This is the epitome of allowing life to happen to you, instead of intentionally creating life for you!
But, don’t worry. If this is you, the good news is you have the power to change this. It won’t happen overnight, but if you start consciously training your soul-self to override your fear based human-self ego, then I promise you the direction of your life will start to change.
It starts with small steps of making your mind push past its initial limitations. You want to run out of the sauna after five minutes, so you make yourself stay in there for six. You don’t want to go to the gym, so you go for a walk instead. You don’t want to eat a healthy meal, so you ditch the burger and fries for a burger and salad instead.
Can you see how that’s starting to make small changes in overriding your human-self’s usual unlimited control over your decision making? It’s making small steps to reprogramme how your ego behaves..
You want to do this slowly, and in incremental steps so that your human-self doesn’t go into full battle for control. Look at it as a takeover via stealth. If the ego doesn’t see it coming, it’s less likely to put up a strong fight of resistance. You want to train your human-self slowly and quietly into submission before it has the chance to realise what is going on.

When you do this enough over time, slowly but surely, your soul-self is going to take over the driver’s seat of your mind. This is when you can really start to be the creator of your outer reality! You see, in order to create a life that you desire you must be intentional and in full control of all of your decision making. Allowing your decisions to be made from the autopilot selection of your human-self is never going to take you where you desire to be. No, no, only strong, intentional decision making can do that for you.
So, the next time you feel the fear rising in you, you know, the fear that makes you want to quit something or run. STOP! Ask yourself: who is in control here? Is this my human-self or is this my soul-self? How can I take one step to push through the fear? If you do this every time, it won’t be too long until you're living a life that’s happening for you, not against you…
It’s your time. Push through the pain, to reap the gain!
